Running. What is more enjoyable, healthier or more inspiring than just running like you were a kid? Wanna run barefoot? I just started recently and enjoy it! No more back pain. I would love to join others in doing so, but I found nothing this side of the Bay! So i guess i gotta start a group.... It is an awesomely empowering experience. I've discovered muscles I never knew I had. Have fun and make your feet as powerful as they were meant to be! It is important to note that I run barefoot in orde …

It all started as a way to combine getting a run in at my favorite micro-brew pub, and now I'd love to expand it further! We'll use this group as a way to do our Iron Springs Pub Runs, both winter and summer, but also to introduce more training runs, both trail and road, both on the streets of San Anselmo, Ross and Fairfax and the trails of Mt. Tam!
We are a group of runners who share a passion for running and for helping others. Through World Runners, we are able to combine our passions to help women and children internationally. We invite you to join us the first Saturday of every month for our Saturday Morning Breakfast Run. We always welcome the opportunity to meet others who share our passion for running! Come run a few miles with us and afterwards, let's get together for a causal breakfast! All paces welcome. About World Runners Wor …
The purpose of this group is to unite runners in our community in the spirit of support, camaraderie, inspiration, and FUN! This group is for women of all running levels to come together and do something positive and good for their mind and body.
Come out and meet other local runners for great camaraderie and motivation. Some of us jog, some of us run, some of us race, but we all have fun! The key is to show up and give it a try -- the sooner you come out and join us, the sooner you will be on the road to fitness, health, and meeting lifelong running friends!
Jogging is local - It is much easier to run in your own neighborhood. Let's run after work and on weekends in our nieghborhood. The Marina offers a bunch of great runs either along the Bay or through the Presido with fantastic views. My goal is to have 2x a week runs between 4 and 6 miles at a moderate, conversational pace. Join in! Meet others in your local area to run with. Plan group runs and participate in various long and short distance running. On weekends, we will try to have brunch a …
Welcome to the lululemon athletica SF Run Club! We've got a wide range of runners that meet on Thursday nights at 6:30pm at lululemon athletica Grant Avenue . This is a group for those who live around Lake Merritt and want to run as well with a group. It's always easiest to start a running routine when you are in a group.
Welcome to WOW! Meet weekdays and weekends to walk or run 3 miles or more at various locations throughout the Bay Area. Our group is social but fitness is our goal. Minimum requirement is that you can move for 60 minutes already. The pace doesn't matter. Some of us walk for fitness. Some of us mix walking/running. Some of us are pretty serious runners and are training to improve our times. Most of us participate in a race once in a while. I encourage women to compete in a few events every year a …
It's pretty straightforward. We're a group of people that like to run and have fun! Every Wednesday we meet at a different local bar throughout San Fran, RUN, and always have the end destination be that same bar. If you're in your 20-30s (or just think you can hang) with a fun and outgoing personality looking to meet new people, then come join us! Our runners are all at different paces. Everyone usually finds someone within their pace to run with. It is not competitive, the emphasis is on maki …
There are so many hiking groups, but I wanted to start a group for runners like me that prefer to run the trails than the streets.

Being new to SF, I figured creating this group would be a great way to bring together cool people who share the same interest. The plan is to go for a run on Sunday mornings on a path that is central & convenient, and then go to a Brunch. We could try new brunch spots every week, of course returning to the ones we that are simply delicious :) You should join this group if you 1) enjoy running and working out, 2) enjoy food, and 3) enjoy meeting new people. You can join if you are beginner, or if …
The Alameda Running and Walking Club is for everyone that wants to enjoy the beauty of Alameda while walking, jogging and running. It is often hard to motivate or commit to getting outside and getting some exercise. What can make it easier and more fun is to do it with other people. Let’s all get together to have a good time! All levels are welcome to join. Any member can suggest a Meetup and if three people say they will attend then it will be scheduled and all the members will be notified. Ple …

Love to run? Love to explore? Runsploring is the ultimate combination. This group is aimed at staying active, having fun, being social, and exploring the hidden gems of San Francisco. Although we like to get a workout, Runsploring is a laid back activity and we don't take ourselves too seriously. As a Runsplorer, we pick a starting location and route. Then we run at a comfortable pace and stop if we come across an amazing view, landmark, or anything else that sparks our interest. Th …
