We started this group to share our love of trail running with the local running community in and around Tempe, Arizona. We will organize a group trail run once a week in Tempe at Papago Park. Each run will be about 1 hour long, but we will have two different groups based on experience level (4 or 6 miles approx.). The Greater Phoenix Orienteering Club is a group dedicated to the sport of orienteering. Orienteering is an event in which competitors use map and compass skills to navigate over terrain as quickly as possible in order to find a series of pre-placed "control" markers.
